Image Optimization
Automatically deliver the best possible image format to your visitors. fast.site converts JPEG/PNG to WebP on the fly for faster loads.
Next-Generation AVIF Image Transcoding
fast.site automatically encodes images into AVIF—the newest, most efficient image compression standard supported by modern browsers.
| Format | Compression Ratio | Sample Hero Size | Visual Fidelity | Browser Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Original JPEG | Baseline | 500 KB | Standard | All Browsers |
| Original PNG | Lossless Baseline | 800 KB | Uncompressed | All Browsers |
| WebP | 25% - 40% Reduction | 120 KB | High | All Modern Browsers |
| AVIF | 50% - 65% Reduction | 85 KB | Superior (HDR / Wide Gamut) | Chrome, Firefox, Safari (Modern) |
Intelligent Multi-Tier Fallback
fast.site inspects incoming Accept headers and serves the best format your visitor's browser can display: AVIF first, WebP second, and original JPEG/PNG for legacy clients.
Safety Guarantee
Transcoding is strictly size-bounded: if an encoded AVIF or WebP file is ever larger than the original image, fast.site automatically serves the original.
